Tape Digitization & Conversion

We convert VHS, VHS-C, MiniDV, Hi8, Digital8, and other analog formats into high-quality digital files. Whether you’re preserving family memories or archiving important events, each tape is handled with extreme care and transferred using professional-grade equipment.

Tape Repair & Recovery

If your tape is jammed, broken, moldy, or not playing correctly, we inspect it first. When possible, we repair the tape so the footage can be recovered before conversion. Even tapes that appear blank or damaged are fully checked for salvageable content.

Cloud Delivery & USB Archiving

Choose how you’d like your memories delivered: a secure cloud link, a custom USB drive, or both. Your files are organized, labeled, and easy to access on any device.

Your Questions, Answered

How long does the process take?

Most orders are completed within 1–2 weeks depending on volume. Larger projects (20+ tapes) may take slightly longer, but rush services are available upon request for an extra charge.

Do you offer pickup or shipping options?

Yes! Local pickup and drop-off are available for the northern Chicagoland area. We also accept tapes shipped from anywhere in the U.S. Shipping is free for any order containing 10+ Tapes/Dvd of any kind

Is my footage kept private?

Absolutely. Your recordings are never shared, stored permanently, or used in any way. Once delivered, all files are deleted from our systems after 30 days unless you request otherwise.

Do you check if a tape is blank before charging?

Yes, if a tape is blank, damaged, or only contains a 10 minutes or less of footage, you are not charged for it.

What formats can you convert?

We convert VHS, VHS-C, MiniDV, Hi8, Digital8, 8mm tapes, and more. If you’re unsure which format you have, just send a picture, we’ll identify it for you.

How will I receive the digital files?

You can choose cloud delivery (Google Drive), USB drive, or both. Your files will be organized, labeled, and delivered in universal MP4 format.
